WORSHIP @ FBCCH
At FBCCH, we believe it's God's desire that all people know and worship Him. Our corporate worship is the pinnacle of all we do. As we seek to offer praise to Him, we proclaim that He is holy. We believe He is worthy of our praise. He is worthy or our worship.
Worship As a Lifestyle
Worship is not music. It's not genre or style, blended or contemporary. It's not about tradition or religious ritual. It's not about feeling or emotion, or what we can get out of it for our own benefit. It's not something that we do on occasion, once a week, or simply at Easter or Christmas time. Worship is, however, a lifestyle. It's something that we do every day of our lives. Romans 12: 1 says, "And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him."
Corporate Worship
Corporate Worship at First is our adoration of God as we gather together in one accord. It's our response to God for who He is and all that He has done for us through Jesus Christ. It's a special time of gathering together as the Body of Christ to proclaim His greatness through our praise and to hear His voice speak to us through the proclamation of His Word. Please feel free to visit with us anytime. Come and be our very, special guest. We want you to know that you are somebody special at FBCCH... Come and see!
SMALL GROUPS
Sunday School small groups are crucial to the health of a church and to the growth of individual Christians. It is in a small group setting that believers grow in their faith, find accountability, and are ministered to most effectively in times of need. At FBCCH, our small groups meet for Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 9:00AM. For more information about where you can best plug in, contact us.
MOUNTAINTOP KIDS
Jesus ministered to children often. At FBCCH, we believe that the future of the church depends on strategic ministry to children today. Our investment in the lives of children begins with Jesus' own words found in Mark 10:14, "Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children."Our Children's Ministry is designed to supplement the family in providing a Biblical and spiritual foundation that will guide children toward a relationship with Jesus Christ, and encourage them to grow in their faith.
MOUNTAINTOP STUDENTS
At Mountaintop Student Ministries, our mission is to equip and send out students to “be the change” they want to see in their world. To "be the change" means: having a Christ-centered faith, Holy living, Accountable to God and others, a Need to love our neighbors, be Grateful, and to Engage others with the Gospel. By living changed lives, students can reach their community with the Gospel, helping spread the change that comes only through a relationship with Jesus. Christ.
“Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” I Timothy 4:12
MOUNTAINTOP MEN
Mountaintop Men’s Ministry exists to mold men into leaders and disciples focused on the mission of the Gospel with passion and commitment. Proverbs 27:17 says, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”Challenging men to grow spiritually is vital for families and the church. Men’s ministry at FBCCH will focus on discipling and unifying the men at FBCCH. Strong men create strong families, and strong families create strong churches. FBCCH will be its healthiest when every man is focused on making disciples. The driving force of this ministry can be summarized with this statement: Discipled men change everything.
MOUNTAINTOP WOMEN
Mountaintop Women’s Ministry exists to share the good news of Christ and lead women to Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit, spiritually strengthen and equip all sisters in Christ, minister to and counsel women in times of need, and encourage women by the teachings of the Bible.
